So, the trip finally has begun. So far we’ve visited Seattle, Portland and right now we’re in Lincoln City and loving life. There’s no Taxes in Oregon, cases of beer are $7.99, although we can drink a whole case and not get drunk. Bottles of wine are all under $10, including Ravens wood and Chateau St Michelle. James has to pull me out of the grocery store, it’s not fair! I’m not sure why but we’ve both adopted yokel accents, so we’re just waiting to get beat up by some genuine yokels… which there are lots of. Lotta big trucks and too many country stations, Sandi feels right at home.

First night in the States after the worst border crossing ever. Anyone know what a Domicile is?? Cause apparently you need one to get into the states now.

This is Pike Place market, the coolest market I’ve ever been to in the heart of Seattle.

I’m not sure why this pig is such a big deal but it is, so I got a picture with it.

The market is full of these seafood stalls. Everyone’s yelling at you to buy their fish. Lot’s of mongers.

This was our campsite in between Seattle and Portland, just outside of Vancouver, Washington.

Yummy, breakfast of champions, outta the back of the truck. Lincoln City, Oregon

Sandi got a Homie hat at a store in Portland called “Lids” and this cardboard came in it… just so happens it looks like yokel teeth. We’re waiting in the parking lot of the outlet mall in Lincoln city for it to open. No Taxes on anything!
