Ski Touring
Feb 19th
After a rocky start our ski touring trip got under way. We had a temperature inversion which resulted in a low lying valley fog. Our chopper couldn’t break through the cloud cover so we were stuck in Clear Water. Once we finally got a blue patch we were off. After a short ride in a 1960s snowcat from the owner of Wells Gray Adventures, our chopper picked us up.

This was our first trip as a group. What a great way to break the ice, get to know people and get outside. We Summited Battle Mountain which is in Wells Gray park, about an hour outside of Kamloops, BC. We were hiking for 5 days. We lucked out with weather, things couldn’t have gone any smoother.
